Everest Poker Brings Poker To Casino Royale Dutch Premiere
Can you imagine a more glamorous way to spend an evening than walking into a red-carpet premiere and a high-class casino in one?
Everest offered free poker lessons to celebrities in attendance at the Dutch premiere of the new James Bond movie Casino Royale.
Included in those that received the poker tutorials were movie critic Rene Mioch, television personality Renate Verbaan, television presenters Winston Gerschtanowitz and Christine van der Horst and renowned Dutch architect Jan de Bouvrie.
The world-famous Tushchinski theatre in Amsterdam was made up to look like a real casino to complete the look for the premiere held Nov. 16. Everest poker, one of the event sponsors, gave the celebrity guests the chance to experience live poker. Needless to say, there was a queue at the Everest Poker corner.
Dealers for Everest Poker included Dutch poker champion Steven ten Cate. He and a number of other dealers shared their knowledge and skills in poker with the premiere attendees. The venue was really transformed thanks in part to the four poker tables, a roulette table and professional dealers from Everest Poker.
Casino Royale opened in theatres across North America November 17 and across Europe November 22.
